Maxwell Warns Inter Milan

Italian champions Inter Milan have been warned by their Brazilian international left back that he would be forced to leave the club in the summer should the club not hand him an improved contract renewal.

  • The 26-year old former AFC Ajax star is paid just 2 million euros per year, a sum that doesn't come even to the average player wage at Inter. he is now supposedly eyeing an improved contract and a hike in his pay.



    Moreover, Maxwell's current contract at Inter Milan end at the end of the 2009-2010 season and the player wants a contract renewal.



    "If Inter do not to renew the contract of Maxwell that expires in 2010, they can start searching for a new left back,” roared the player’s agent Mino Rajola, who added through the pages of Tuttosport that his client is wanted by both Valencia and Chelsea.



    “I have an embarrassment of choices. Valencia and Chelsea have requested him for quite some time."
