Zuiverloon joins WBA

West Bromwich Albion have completed the shock signing of Gianni Zuiverloon, one of the most highly rated young players in Holland. It is understood WBA paid around £3.5 million to Heerenveen to land the player.

“It was difficult for me to leave a club like Heerenveen, but this is a fantastic next step in my career," Zuiverloon told De Telegraaf. "I have already been there once and the club made a good impression on me.



"Tomorrow, I will be introduced to my team-mates and, after that, I hope to be on the training field quickly."
