Muntari's Portsmouth pledge

03 July 2008 - 08:11

Ghana international midfielder Sulley Muntari has pledged his long-term future to Portsmouth. There have been rumours over the summer that Newcastle and Liverpool are both chasing the talented central midfielder.

  • Chelsea to make surprise move for Arsenal midfielder?
  • Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brighton, Sesko starts
  • “I’m aware that many clubs are interested in my signature but I’m enjoying myself at Portsmouth and for now, I’m not thinking of leaving the club,” Muntari told Brila FM.

It is understood that Muntari has also been given the option to move to Serie A and Juventus; but their proposed move for the player fell out due to Pompey's transfer demands.
