Digard signs for Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have completed the £4 million signing of French defender Didier Digard. Digard joins with an excellent reputation and several of Europe's biggest clubs all were interested in the player.

  • "I'm very pleased that we've been able to bring Didier into the club," Southgate told Boro's official website. “He is an exciting young talent who fits the profile of hungry ambitious players that we want.



    "Didier has played for France at every level up to under-21 and will really add to the competitive nature of our squad. He is a holding midfielder, who is a good athlete and a strong tackler."
