Mancini close to Inter move?

10 July 2008 - 11:31

According to Roma player Mancini, he is ready to make a move across Italy to Scudetto champions Inter Milan. It is understood Inter will be paying up to £10 million to land the talented forward.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • “For now I am still a Roma player,” Mancini himself told the Corriere dello Sport.

“But the Giallorossi have given their blessing for me to leave and are speaking to Inter.

“Inter are a great club with important players and champions who can always make a difference.

“They have won the last three Scudetti and when a club with such ambition wants you, you are inevitably flattered. It’s nice to be wanted by them.”
