French starlet Samir Nasri has finally become an Arsenal player after the Gunners and Marseille reached a deal on Thursday.

  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The deal is said to worth 14 million euros and all the parties concerned are said to be immensely happy with the deal.

Samir Nasri has been linked with a move to the Emirates since the end of last season and was himself quoted as saying that he is eager to join the club.

But there were certain complications in the negotiations between the two clubs which have now come to an end. At one point a few other European clubs were also involved in the Nasri chase but finally NAsri has become a Gunner.

“I'm very happy to become an Arsenal player, it means such a lot to me,” the 12 times capped Frenchman told the Gunners’ website, “This is a very important step in my life as a football player because Arsenal is a massive club. I really hope everything will go well for me here. I will my best for Arsenal and its fans and I am honoured to be part of such a great football club.”
