Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is confident that the club will agree terms with Nwankwo Kanu regarding a new deal. Kanu scored the winning goal at Wembley to help Pompey to the FA Cup trophy.
Redknapp told The News: "Peter (Storrie) is sorting it out. As far as I know he's going to sign for another year and I want to keep him here.
"He's a good player, he's still got a part to play and gives you something different.
"We want a squad and up front there's David Nugent as well, he's been working hard in pre-season."
