Olympiakos have made a shock offer for Liverpool's talented Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva, according to reports emanating from Greece.
It is understood that the Greek giants are prepared to offer Liverpool £600,000 to allow the player one season on loan at Olympiakos, and with an option to a permanent deal if the player impresses.
It is unlikely that Rafa Benitez will allow Lucas the opportunity to leave, as the player is one of his more important players for the future.
