Rennes defender John Mensah has finally completed his move to French champions Lyon, in a deal estimated to be worth around £8.5 million. The defender had been linked with a move to Portsmouth.
The 25 year old Ghana captain has finally completed his move, but is happy to begin a new opportunity.
"It's not going to be easy for me but I'll do my best," said Mensah.
"I had a few offers, mostly from English clubs but I opted for Lyon on the insistence of my agent."
