Mexes: not interested in Juve

Roma defender Philippe Mexes insists he never has considered joining today's opponents Juventus. The Serie A rivals reportedly discussed a transfer for the French central defender.

"I couldn't care less about Juventus," snapped the France international.



"I don't want to know of any transfer stories regarding myself and them. I've never imagined myself as a Bianconero. I am a Roma player and I don't want to hear about such things. I am staying at this club and I'm not pondering anything else."



During pre-season Mexes clashed with Juventus' star Pavel Nedved in and Mexes spoke of the incident, "I've forgotten about it and it is in the past. Let's just hope it will be a good game. I think Nedved is a great player and I have respect for him"
