Young Germany international striker Mario Gomez has revealed that he has no intentions of leaving VfB Stuttgart this summer. The talented forward was expected to leave and join rivals Bayern Munich.
He told his own website: "There has been a lot of speculation regarding my future in recent weeks.
"And some people have asked me to state my loyalty to Stuttgart.
"That is not necessary though as not once did I say I wanted to leave the club this summer.
"I have a contract with Stuttgart.
"I am honoured by the interest from some leading European clubs but, as I said months ago, if I move, everything has to be right.
"I am sure that time will come but there is nothing more to say in that respect."
