Turkish giants Galatasaray have completed the signing of goalkeeper Morgan de Sanctis from Spanish side Sevilla FC.
De Sanctis is considered as a promising goalkeeper but he has been lingering in the shadows of Andres de Palop. The Italian has never quite managed to make it to the first team on a regular basis.
He was always slated to leave the Seville side in the summer but it is a sort of surprise that he is moving to Turkey.
Sources in Turkey confirmed that the deal has already been struck and that the player shall be taking his medical in the next few days.
Sevilla shall receive 800,000 pounds as transfer fee while Morgan de Sanctis would be on a 1.1 million pound salary at Galatasaray.
