Since Man City were taken over by the Abu-Dhabi group, it is understood that the club made a series of offers for players, including David Villa and Dimitar Berbatov.



A move was agreed with Real Madrid to allow Robinho to join Manchester City in a £32.5 million deal last week on transfer deadline day.



It is understood that City are set to plunder the transfer market in January, and it appears Totti is high on the club's wanted list.
