Raul: I could've joined Milan

Real Madrid and Spain legend Raul has revealed that at some stage of his career he could have been an AC Milan player, but he turned down the opportunity.

"There have been many contacts, but my answer has always been the same. Everyone knew that I did not want to leave Madrid," said Raul.



"But speaking of fantasies, when I was little and thought of becoming a footballer I said, 'hopefully one day I'll play in Milan.'



"I would have liked to have played alongside Marco van Basten."
