Xavi happy with Barca win

Barcelona midfielder Xavi believes that the 3-1 victory over Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League was just what the side needed; after a disappointing start to the season in La Liga.

"We needed a win," admitted Xavi, who scored Barca's third goal late on to secure the points against Sporting.



"The team felt comfortable, created chances and the only thing missing was a better success ratio in front of goal.



"The team deserved the win because we played good football."
