Malouda proud of win

Florent Malouda was proud to be involved in the 4-0 victory for Chelsea over Bordeaux in the Champions League last night, and the Frenchman was even more delighted to have grabbed a goal.

Malouda revealed: “We are glad with this performance in front of our fans.



“Chelsea achieved the perfect game and I reckon starting the group stages with a comfortable win is what we were all wishing for.



“As far as I’m concerned, scoring and being applauded by the fans means a lot.



“We are now in the driving seat and will try to qualify for the last 16 as quickly as possible in order to feel relaxed.”
