Juve launch Di Biagio bid

24 September 2007 - 16:19

Juventus have launched a shock bid to sign Luigi Di Biagio in January on a free transfer. The player currently is under contract with Ascoli, but has been informed he may be allowed to leave the club.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The seasoned veteran has played for Roma, Inter and Brescia and also played for the national team up until 2002.

Di Biagio may be brought in to Juventus in order to help sort the defensive problem the Turin giants have had this year.

Juventus' first choice midfielder Tiago has had a disappointing start to his career, and is believed to be available for transfer.
