Joe Kinnear has confirmed that Gerry Francis could be set to join him as a temporary solution at St. James Park. Kinnear has a short team deal at Newcastle himself, and Francis is expected to link up with the club.
"Gerry's thinking our offer over at the moment," Kinnear told the Shields Gazette.
"I'll be going to London at the weekend, when we have no game, and I hope to get something sorted out by then."
