FC Twente coach Steve McClaren has promised he has learened from the mistakes he made when in charge of England. His Dutch side are in England preparing to take on Man City in the UEFA Cup.
McClaren said: "If I am not, I want shooting again, considering all the lessons that should have been learned.
"I hope I have learned. That is what I am trying to prove in whatever I do. You want to do your best.
"I am not in rehab. That word is not for me. It is part of my career, not rehab. I am experiencing a different culture, a different environment.
"One of the reasons I took the job in Holland is because it is a great football country and one with a great tradition, not just for players but for coaches.
"I always wanted to experience working abroad and am glad I have done so. I am too busy to think about English football, my focus is on Holland and the competition there."
