Hammers close to shirt deal

Hammers close to shirt deal

07 November 2008 - 07:25

West Ham are set for some financial relief after reportedly agreeing terms with SBObet, the betting company. It is understood the club are close to agreeing an 18 month deal with the firm.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • West Ham's previous sponsor, XL Airways collapsed, and the Hammers have been playing without shirt sponsors.

However, it appears that SBObet have agreed terms on an 18 month contract for an estimated £1.9 million.

The deal will be a welcome boost for the cash strapped club.
