Wigan are understood to be close to completing the signing of Santos Laguna star Cristian Benitez. Steve Bruce is set to bring in the player in January, according to reports.
The striker has been monitored by Steve Bruce and his scouting network for over 3 months, and now Wigan may be prepared to pay £6 million to bring the striker from Ecuador to the Premiership.
