Chelsea want Sneijder?

Chelsea want Sneijder?

13 November 2008 - 11:19

Chelsea are considering a shock move in January for Real Madrid and Holland international midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The player is not available, but Roman Abramovich could bankroll a record £35 million to lure the Galacticos into a January sale.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Sneijder showed during Euro 2008 that he is one of the best players on the world stage, and is renowned for his ability to score stunning goals from long distance.

The £35 million will be difficult for Madrid to reject, as it is nearly 4 times more than the fee they originally paid Ajax for his signature.

At this stage, any move for Sneijder is purely just speculation, but it is believed Chelsea will make initial enquiries this week.
