Former England captain David Beckham might consider a permanent move to Milan to help himself secure a spot in Capello's England squad.

  • AC Milan might consider to make David Beckham's loan move which starts in January a permanent one as suggested by Milan director Umberto Gandini.

Gandini said that Beckham is a great player and Milan would like to have his signature at any cost.

The 33-year old has been omitted from the England squad that is to face Germany, Capello stated that LA Galaxy's poor results had prevented Beckham's inclusion.

Beckham's future with England is not looking good mainly because of the lack of competitive games he get. This should force him to make the loan move to Milan a permanent one. The former England captain is one shy of England legend Bobby Moore's total of 108 caps - which is the record for an outfield player.

David Beckham had always wanted to play for England till the 2010 World Cup. He would need to play more games regularly to fulfill his dreams, this would see him trying to persuade his employers to make the loan deal permanent.
