Gohouri to Sunderland?

Sunderland are apparently ready to make a move for Steve Gohouri, the Ivory Coast international currently playing at Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 27 year old is ready to quit the Bundesliga for the Premiership.

It is believed that Ricky Sbragia is to offer a figure in the region of 2 million GBP to lure the Ivorian to the club.



Borussia Mönchengladbach's centre back has a wealth of experience, playing at Bologna in Serie A, Paris St Germain in Ligue 1 and eventually the Bundesliga side.



Gohouri now wants to add the Premiership to his CV, and a move to england could be completed before the end of the January transfer window.
