Hammers sign Savio

West Ham United have signed Savio Nsereko from Brescia for £9m. The 19 year old striker signed a four and half year contract with the Hammers.

  • West Ham United boss Zola had hinted that he wanted a striker and he is keenly interested in Nsereko. The 19 year old has been in the radar of many top clubs. Nsereko is regarded as one of the best talents in

    Uganda football.



    Zola believes that the young striker would prove to be a valuable asset to the club in the years to come. The West Ham chief executie Scott Duxbury said, "The signing of a top young talent shows our determination to move this club forward. We are delighted to sign him fighting the tough competition from several clubs in Europe."



    Zola mentioned that Savio is a great young talent and the English football will nurture him and will bring the best out of him. "He has got great potential and can become a top player. He is a special player."
