Cardiff set to sign Chris Porter

Cardiff are on the verge of signing Motherwell striker Chris Porter. The deal is worth £425,000 and Porter will join Cardiff soon after agreeing to personal terms.

  • Chris Porter is all set to leave Motherwell for a deal worth £425,000 to join Cardiff. Cardiff has not confirmed this yet, but, reports suggest that a deal has been struck.



    The 25-year old is yet to undergo medical and agree on personal terms.



    He is a prolific scorer and has scored 18 goals in the Scottish Premier League last season. He has already scored nine times in 21 matches for Motherwell. His current form has invited interest from Nottingham Forest and the Scottish rivals Hearts.



    Motherwell manager Mark McGhee told to BBC Scotland that a bid from Cardiff was accepted. He said : "We accepted the offer from Cardiff and it's upto Porter to decide if he wants to go."



    He joined Motherwell from Oldham Athletic having scored 31 times in 66 matches. The lad surely has skill in scoring goals!
