The Premier League has granted a conditional extension to the transfer window deadline.

  • The extreme weather conditions that disrupt travel has made Premier League officials give a conditional extension to the transfer window deadline for the clubs. The clubs need to send an email to the officials saying that a deal has been struck in principle.

Mike Foster, the Premier League general secratery, announced this in the official website.

"We are currently trying to gauge the level of activity and how many deals are in the pipeline." he said.

The potential last minute transfers are those of Robbie Keane to Spurs and Arshavin to Arsenal.
