John Terry has agreed a new contract with Chelsea. The double winners have tied the England captain to a new five year contract worth an estimated £135,000 a week. Terry stated he was "relieved" after signing, and that his future at the club was "never in doubt".

  • The Chelsea captain will become the highest paid player in the Premiership and will earn an estimated £7 million a year.



    26-year-old Terry has spent 9 years at the club and played over 200 games for the West London side. This new contract will underline his ambition at Chelsea after several foreign clubs were linked with the defender.
