Defoe sad about brother's death

Tottenham striker, Jermain Defoe, revealed that it is painful to lose his brother, but, he will return to football in the weekend match against West Brom.

  • Defoe's half-brother, Jade, died last Friday after he was brutally attacked in the streets of London on April 20.The doctors reported that the severe head injuries were the cause of the death.



    "My brother will always be in my thoughts and in my heart," said Defoe.



    Following his brother's death, Defoe was left out of the Tottenham squad that face Manchester United the next day which they lost 5-2.
