AS Roma goal keeper, Doni, is injured and will not be available until the end of the season.
Doni has suffered a knee injury which will keep him away from playing any matches for three months at least.
AS Roma released an official statement yesterday which claimed that Doni would need a surgery. The injury is on the cartilage in his right knee, the operation and the following recuperation would take three months in usual cases.
AS Roma are currently sixth in the Serie A, behind Genoa, and they would need to cope without their first choice goal keeper with just five games remaining in the season.
They are six points away from the coveted Champions League spot.
