Aston Villa could make a shock move for Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce according to reports this morning. A number of Premiership scouts have recently been spotted at Napoli games, and Santacroce impressed this season.
At Napoli, Santacroce has found himself straight into the first-team and continues to prove week-in week-out that he is a superb talent.
The player only recently signed for Napoli last summer from Brescia, but the lure of the Premiership could see the Italian on his way to Aston Villa if the move becomes available.
The Brazilian born defender is renowned for his tough tackling and aggressive style, and a number of Italian clubs are said to be monitoring his progress.
