Newcastle midfielder Jonas Gutierrez could be set for a summer exit from the Toon after he failed to live up to lofty expectations since his summer arrival from Real Mallorca. It is understood that French giants Lyon could make the first bid for the Argentinian international.
Gutierrez has struggled this year despite a lot of faith being shown in the player, and has failed to provide the much-needed goals that is expected from an attacking style midfielder at St. James' Park.
It is believed that Lyon are ready to offer £5.5 million to bring the Argentinian back to France.
The attacking midfielder, known as Spiderman, is believed to be willing to listen to any offers.
