Newcastle could well be in the market this summer for Spanish youngster Jordi Gomez Garcia-Penche, who currently plays on loan for Swansea City in the Championship. The Spanish midfielder has been a revelation this year for the club.
Gomez is believed to be no longer wanted by his current club, Espanyol, and Newcastle are set to make an offer for the player on a permanent basis despite Swansea City being keen to keep the player.
Jordi Gomez could leave Espanyol for another club for a fee in the region of around £1 million.
