Portsmouth are believed to be interested in signing Swedish young centre midfielder Albin Ekdal on loan next season from Juventus.

The player has already found himself on the fringes of first-team action at Juventus, but the Italian club are keen to allow the player to move elsewhere for first-team experience.



Ekdal is regarded by many as one of the brightest young talents in Scandinavian football. The 19 year old joined Juve from IF Brommapojkarna only 18 months ago.
