West Ham are monitoring the progress of young AJ Auxerre striker Lynel Kitambala very closely, according to reports emanating from France early on Sunday morning.

According to such reports, West Ham have been sending scouts regularly to watch Auxerre's youth and reserve team games and have prepared a full dossier on the young 18 year old forward.



Kitambala has already appeared in the Auxerre first-team, but West Ham see the Congolese born striker as one for the future.



West Ham will offer £1.5 million for the striker.
