Celtic have emerged as a shock target for Yasser Al-Qahtani, the Saudi Arabian football nicknamed 'the Sniper' due to his impeccable finishing in front of goal.

Currently at Al-Hilal, the player is valued by his club at £2 million+, and Celtic are ready to make that offer, with an initial one year loan period.



The 25 year old even had a trial period at Manchester City when Sven-Goran Eriksson was the coach, but failed to impress the Swede enough to meet the £2.5 million price tag on his head.



Many regard Al-Qahtani as the greatest player ever to come from Saudi Arabia.
