Scolari to replace Strachan ?

27 May 2009 - 04:36

Luiz Felipe Scolari is the man chosen to replace Gordon Strachan at Celtic, latest reports from sources close to the club say. Strachan who left the club, had recommended Motherwell boss Mark McGhee to be his successor at the Celtic Park.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Former Chelsea boss, Luis Felipe Scolari, would be the new boss of Celtic to replace Gordon Strachan. Although there are many other top names linked with the club, the latest reports suggest that the top club officials favour the former World Cup winning coach.

Scolari had no success in the Premier League and was fired in the January window to be replaced by another heavy weight coach - Guus Hiddink - who then inspired the Blues to come back in the Premier League.

The Brazilian had had many great successes in the football world, coaching Portugal and Brazil and is a former world cup winner.

A few other names in the Celtic radar are Curbishey, Hoddle and Souness!!
