Genoa sign Quaresma

Inter Milan's Ricardo Quaresma will sign for Genoa in the summer following his 'bad' loan spell at Chelsea. The Portugese winger was loaned to the London club in the January transfer window but could not get many chances to make an impact.

  • Genoa have agreed with Inter for a joint ownership on Quaresma for £8.8m, as declared by the club's president, Enrico Perziosi. He confirmed that the 25-year old will play for them next season.

Genoa are also linked with another Inter man, Hernan Crespo, whose contract ends this summer. Preziosi said that the club will confirm the signing of Crespo by tomorrow night.

Inter and Genoa had heavy transfers going on between them in the recent weeks with ace striker Diego Milito and midfielder Thiago Motta joining San Siro.
