Iker Casillas has all but ruled out making a move from Real Madrid to Man Utd, insisting that he would like to remain at the club for the rest of his career. The Spain number one had been lined up as a successor to Edwin van der Sar.
Casillas quipped: "There is absolutely nothing, neither from United nor another club. Neither my agent nor Madrid have informed me of any offer, or called me either.
"It’s speculation, which is what happens when the transfer market is open.
"I have a contract with Madrid until 2017 and what I’m thinking about is completing it. Everybody knows Madrid are in my heart and that I’m a White until I die."
