Juventus are chasing the signature of Barcelona defender Martin Caceres and hope to land the player in the next couple of days in a deal believed to be worth about £6.65 million in the future.
Caceres, a Uruguay international, will move to Juventus initially on loan, and then a permanent fee can be quickly agreed afterwards.
Caceres had been linked with a move to Villarreal and Bayern Munich, but Juventus have won the race for the talented defender's signature.
