Birmingham City are reportedly interested in Dinamo Kiev striker Andrei Shevchenko. The forward is apparently desperate for another chance in the Premiership after a disappointing spell at Chelsea.

Shevchenko could well join the Blues' on loan for the rest of the season as Carson Yeung, Birmingham City's new chairman, promised over £30 million in transfer funds for the side.



Shevchenko is ready to take on Inter Milan in the Champions League tonight for his current club Dinamo Kiev.
