Sogndal goalkeeper Terje Skjeldestad could well be plying his trade in the Premiership in January as understudy to Mark Schwarzer at Fulham. Skjeldestad has been at the Norwegian side Sogndal for over 14 years, and rumours suggest he is now heading for pastures new.
If reports are to be believed from Norway this morning, Sogndal have yet to receive an offer for the 'keeper, but Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is reportedly weighing up a January offer.
Not much is known about the transfer fee suggested for the 31-year-old.
With Skjeldestad such an integral part of Sogndal's side, many in the region are believed to be gutted about Terje's imminent departure.
Lifelong Sogndal fan Cristofer Eikenes quipped: "I'm shocked, Terje is a legend here.
"I remember the first game he played for us. He was just a junior, a raw talent. Now look at him, leaving Sogndal for Fulham - good luck to the lad."
