Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has refuted claims that Micah Richards could be heading for the revolving exit door at the City of Manchester Stadium. Tottenham were linked with the England international full back.
Spurs were believed to be putting the finishing touches to a £18 million offer for the right back.
However, City are desperate to keep the player.
âHow could I afford to lose Micah? We have only four fit defenders anyway and I rate him very highly. He has played for England and has great potential. It is important that he stays,â Mancini said.
