Birmingham not in for Kenwyne

11 January 2010 - 14:05

Birmingham City could be priced out of a move for Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones, according to reports. The Black Cats boss Steve Bruce will not let the Trinidad and Tobago player leave on the cheap.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • It is understood that Birmingham coach Alex McLeish was set to offer around £8 million for the forward, but this sum was considered paltry by the Black Cats.

Kenwyne Jones is valued at closer to £15 million by Sunderland, a price that Birmingham are not willing to pay.
