Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly ready to make a bid for Jermaine Beckford should Newcastle's bid for the Leeds United striker fail this January.
Beckford is valued by Leeds in the region of £2 million after an impressive vein of form at the beginning of this season.
Beckford scored the goal at Old Trafford that dumped Manchester United out of the FA Cup, and added to a catalogue of great goals scored for Leeds this year.
