Wenger won't rush to Arsenal deal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not be rushed into signing a new contract. It is understood that the Frenchman is stalling over a new deal, despite having 18 months left on his current deal.

  • Wenger has been with the club since 1996 and has so far stayed committed to the Gunners.



    Wenger said: "I am giving myself a bit of time to think. What is important is the club is in good hands, whether they are mine or someone else's.



    "Whether I personally leave on a positive or negative not is a little bit less important."
