Gokhan Inler not going to Inter

11 January 2010 - 17:05

Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzi has revealed he has no intention of selling Swiss international midfielder Gokhan Inler in the January transfer window, despite the interest of Inter Milan.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Inler is one of the brightest prospects in Serie A, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had been chasing the player last year.

"I will make this comment to put an end to all the unfounded rumours regarding possible player sales during January... The squad is untouchable and there will be no sales," Pozzi told the club's official website.

"I say this loud and clear, we don't want to hear anything else. We believe in our group. All these news stories are just speculation, which is unhelpful to us."
