Joaquin heading to Liverpool?

Joaquin heading to Liverpool?

11 January 2010 - 17:34

Valencia winger Joaquin is a target for Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, according to reports. It is believed that the Reds' coach will make a loan offer for the Spaniard, with a large incentive to sign the player permanently in the summer.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Juventus are also rivals with Liverpool to land the player.

Joaquin is valued by Valencia in the region of £8-9 million, but the Che are desperate to sell their prized assets to raise much needed cash.

Eduardo Espejo, Joaquin's agent, has said of interest this summer: "Let's see how things develop in the winter market. At the moment there is nothing, but if we receive a serious offer we will consider it.

"The player likes Juventus, but also many other teams. He's spent two difficult seasons at Valencia, but now is playing well and is enjoying more minutes."
