Marek Hamsik has emerged as a target for Manchester City. It is understood that the club will pay £20 million to land the talented centre midfielder from the Serie A club Napoli
Mancini said: "When I coached Inter, I asked for Hamsik.
"I really wanted the Slovakian but Napoli were quicker than us.
"I am not at all surprised that the major European clubs are interested in him.
"He is a real talent."
