Peruvian international midfielder Robi Merino has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers from Italian side Salernitana.
The diminutive 27 year old midfielder has spent much of his career playing for smaller clubs in Greece and Spain, but rumoured interest from Wolves comes as a huge shock.
According to reports from Italy, Mick McCarthy's scouts have been monitoring the player for two months and are set to offer around £400,000 for the player.
